What is Obsessive Compulsive Disorder?

It is a psychological disorder that is characterized by obsessions and compulsions. Obsessions are recurrent, intrusive and unwanted thoughts, images or urges that cause anxiety or distress. Compulsions are repetitive behaviors or rituals that are performed to reduce anxiety.
